Business Sales & Acquisitions

Sell the company you spent a career building — properly

Meravon manages confidential sales and acquisitions of owner-managed businesses end to end: honest valuation, qualified buyers, competitive tension, and a process that protects your team, your customers, and your price.

The practice

For most owners, the sale of the business is the single largest financial event of their lives — and the one for which they are least prepared. Confidentiality leaks, unqualified buyers, and single-bidder negotiations routinely cost sellers the value of years of work.

Meravon's brokerage practice runs disciplined, confidential processes for companies typically valued between $1M and $50M. We prepare the business and its story, qualify buyers before they learn who you are, create genuine competitive tension, and negotiate with the leverage that process creates.

Buyers engage us for the mirror image: acquisition search, screening, valuation, and negotiation support that keeps enthusiasm from writing the cheque.

Common questions

How do you keep a sale confidential?

Buyers see a blind profile first, sign confidentiality agreements before any identifying information, and are financially qualified before management meetings. Staff, customers, and suppliers learn of the transaction when you decide — typically at or after close.

What does it cost to sell through Meravon?

A modest engagement fee covers preparation and valuation, with the substantial majority of our compensation as a success fee payable only on close — so our incentives sit exactly where yours do.

My business is too dependent on me. Can it still sell?

It can — usually at a discount. If your horizon allows, our exit planning work reduces owner dependency first, which is often the single highest-return project available to a seller.
